Eday Lesson 2

It's time to take a break from playing outside (at least wishing you were able to play outside), watching t.v. or playing video games.  You will exercise your brain by doing the following activities.  This time, you will need to print a few papers, a math paper, social studies, and science.  Remember, any questions can either be posted on the blog or emailed to me and you have 2 weeks to complete the lessons.  Don't forget to do the music lesson!!!!

Math  

1.  Watch this video on relating Multiplication and Division and then do the test yourself.  
2.  Play Multiplication Space Race
3.  Complete the Multiplication 5 Minute Frenzy  You will need to print off the worksheet or copy onto a piece of paper.
4. Take the Multiplication Quiz

Reading

1.  Let's work on Main Idea.

2.  Go to Read Theory and work for on the website for 20 minutes. 

3.  Review synonyms and antonyms by playing both Ghosts in the Graveyard and Antonym Matcher.

Social Studies

1.  Review the continents by playing World Continents

2.  Watch the book Mapping Penny's World 

3.  Make a map of your Bedroom. 

Science

1.  Watch Study Jams Scientific Methods 
2.  Take the short quiz.
3.  Now apply what you learned with this Color Lab Science Experiment.  You will need a adult or responsible person to help you.  Follow all the instructions.  If you can't print out the experiment and recording sheet, record your observations and findings on a piece of paper.
