Eday lesson 1

To help keep you nice and warm today, lets get those brain waves moving.  You can either answer your questions online or on a separate piece of paper for your work to count.  If you have any questions, respond on the blog or email your questions to amartin@eaton.k12.oh.us   Enjoy your day and remember, you have 2 weeks to complete the assignments.

Math

Let's get started with multiplication.  We are going to work with the multiplication chart.  
1.  Go to Multiplication Chart.  Pick 5 different facts you want to learn and follow the first 4 tabs for your facts.
2.  After you have completed the #1, take the fact quiz.  Fact Quiz
3.  Watch the following video on arrays.  LearnZillion: Arrays
4.  Find 10 different items in your house that resemble an array, write the multiplication problem down and find the product (answer).

Reading & Writing

1.  Listen to Brave Irene.

2.  The plot of this book is very developed with a distinct beginning, middle, and ending.  Describe the beginning, middle, and end of the story in your Reading Response Day 1

3.  Now sit down in a quiet spot and read for 20 minutes for your enjoyment.

Science

1.  Watch Study Jams Air Masses and Fronts 

2.  Take the online quiz after you have watched the video.

Social Studies

1.  Read the following article on Abraham Lincoln.  
2.  Tell me 5 facts you learned about Abraham Lincoln in your
Writing Journal
